Just another college town apartment complex

I have lived here for 2 years now and I'm glad to say that I am now renewing my lease and that I'm moving to McCormick Place, 500 feet down the road. Willowbrook was excellent for the first couple of months, until you actually see the problems. Our neighbors upstairs were constantly making noise and numerous attempts to hush them up, including talking to management failed. They blatently lie about "high speed" internet...dial-up is faster, and to get a fast speed you have to pay up to $75 a month to have those speeds...save yourself the time and get DSL from Purdue. Our door was kicked in around May 2003 and we were not able to close our door securely and could barely lock it. It took 6 weeks to fix and 9 months before we threatened to hire a lawyer for unfair business practices for them to cover the damage. 3 sets of management have been here now, 1st set was good, second set was completely horrible and made you feel like a number and not a person, and the 3rd seems to be better than the 1st. Hopefully things will get better, but in my opinion, it's just another college town apartment complex ripping off kids. Oh, watch out for you deposits...they are completely non-refundable.
