This place is put together shoddily, the maintenance men are incompetent and the office staff is terrible. They are rude and they are complete idiots. I finally got out of this place (after paying a $225 non refundable "redecoration fee" at the beginning of the year) and then I was charged more money on top of that for an apartment that was left in MINT condition, I have pictures to prove it. I ended up paying over $325 extra for an apartment that was left in perfect condition, with pictures to prove it. If I had the money/time to take this to court, I would in a second. I would ABSOLUTELY win because they are scam artists with money and lawyers and there is nothing that a college student can do to stand up to them. They charged me for damages that did not exist and have no proof that they ever existed, but I have pictures that show they did not exist. They don't care. Also, I was on an individual lease and they charged me for damages in my roommates' rooms because they lost the sheet that said who was in which room. Instead of asking any of us, they just charged us all evenly, which is a huge load of BS since that is a violation of their own lease because we were not on a joint lease. They blamed it on us that they did not have that information, but I was assigned a room when I got there and me and my roommates signed a paper saying which room was whose at the beginning of the year, but they lost it along with most of the paperwork that was supposed to be in our file. They lost a bunch of my paperwork throughout the year, lost my move in sheet, lost most of my apartment's file, messed up my cable television, the high speed internet was ALWAYS down... They say utilities included, but they did not refund anything to me at the end of the year even though I overpaid by about $50. I was only here for 1 year and I would NEVER live here again. The management sucks and Collegiate Communities sucks, as do the workers in the office. Also, the parking sucks and if you decide to come home any time after dark (you know, like 9pm) there are NO spots and you have to park like a mile away from your apartment, which is wonderful in the winter or when it is raining or when you have groceries. Then there are the rednecks that just sit and peel into and out of their parking spot ALL NIGHT on random Tuesdays and whatnot. So that's great. Then all their redneck friends scream and yell and cheer because they are pulling into and out of a spot and making noise. Plus, the lights in the parking lot stay on 24/7, so it is like daylight all the time in your bedroom, even with your blinds shut. You could read a book by streetlight with the blinds shut in the middle of the night, so that sucks. Oh, and my car was vandalized twice while parked in the lot outside my apartment. They are disorganized and dishonest and blame their tenants for everything that they do wrong. The places look ok, but seriously... Be careful. Looks can be deceiving.
