Willowbrook is the worst apartment complex in the lafayette area. They have a great marketing department which brings in tons of residents. But don't fall for their BS. The management is rude, and doesn't follow through with anything. Maintenance is ok, but theres a lot of room for improvement. But the worst part is, they will Rip you off. Say goodbye to your deposit when you sign that check, you will not get it back. They not only took our deposit but they charged me and my 3 roomates a total of $5200 after we moved out. They charged for screens that were missing when we got there, a broken bar stool that pretty much just fell apart when we sat on it. They charged us not only for a mailbox key that we turned in, but also for keys to the individual locks on our bedroom doors. This was hilarious because we didn't have locks on our bedroom doors. They charged us to repaint the apartment, change the carpet, all types of stuff. They charged us for a bed, which broke just from me laying on it everynight, clearly not built for larger individuals. They would barge in unexpected and without notice while we were sleeping at 8 in the morning to change furnace filters. The apartment below us was aparently occupied by 6 hispanic guys who had worked on the apartment durning the summer and just kind of moved in without informing management or paying rent or anything. This is also a very loud complex. There are parties going on non-stop. You will not get any studying done living here. DO NOT Move to Willowbrook. Don't do it!
