We've lived at the Greens for about 9mths. I can agree with the other reviews that there are some problems. The pool cracked last winter since they don't drain it, and it continues to leak. The parking lot I park in, which is right next to the pool was covered with about 2 inches ice. No kidding! The grass around the pool is currently a mud hole, and they are supposed to get someone out to fix it, but it is supposed to open the end of May. Since I live near the clubhouse and pool, there are rarely any parking spaces available in the summer evenings near my apartment. There should be assigned parking, or at least designated parking for the (lazy) people who decide to drive to the pool instead of walk. It really is only about a 3 minute walk from the farthest part of the 1st phase apartments to the pool.
Comment on the lease:
These people are really particular on the lease. It's one year leases, period. If you want to move out early, you have to pay the entire remainder of your lease. They require a months notice if you are moving out. I find the lease terms unfair, in that we are looking for a house, and if we need to stay a little longer than the lease is, we'd have to pay for an entire year.
We got a "golf course view", and have to pay an additional $15 a month. It is quieter, and a much better view, but it is twice as far to move in and out, and carrying groceries is a hassle. I'd recomend getting a rolling cart to transport them from your car to your appartment.
Some positive comments:
We rarely can hear our neighbors, just sometimes water running.
The clubhouse is kept nice.
The fitness center is as good as it can get.
