I've lived here for over four years now. I've read the other comments on this site and while I do agree with the comments, I have to say that I have seen change. There has been some turnover in the office...The previous managers neglected to take care of my problems. I was made to feel that they really didn't matter. I was promised the world by some managers, but follow through was not their strong point. Recently I have noticed that when I call in maintenance requests, maintenance is there within an hour (usually within the half hour). Before I was hesitant to call the office because I was afraid my concerns would go on unattended. Now when I call, the manager seems understanding and tells me that maintenance will be over shortly...and they are! I've actually had to call the office before and ask the manager if someone could check to see if I shut off my iron. I felt like a moron, but the manager sent someone over and called me at work to let me know that it wasn't left on. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I do see improvements. Trust me, I'm not saying it's perfect, however it's nice to know that we may finally have a staff that really does care a little more about the residents and making them happy. I hope this is only the beginning of change and there is more to come.
