The Tiehen Group is the biggest joke when it comes to apartment management companies. They remind me of leeches only they suck you dry of money, as rent constantly goes up, and no improvments of any kind are made.I was told by their maintenance personnel some of the rehab work was done by personnel from the county work farm, (inmates). I know this information was not provided to the residents who were here during that time.The maintenance staff is one of the worst I have encountered. I'm not sure what they trained on or what type work they did before being hired here. It surely wasn't anything mechanical.I've been waiting for some work orders to be completed or even intially addressed since the rehab. This was over 4 years ago.

I was told the same thing a long time ago. I lived there for about four years and would not recommend Aspen to my worst enemy. We had mold problems that were never resolved, water leaks, the water lines there were breaking pretty much monthly with no real hurry on fixing them. They never enforced parking rules so we had to park literally up the street because our neighbours were always having parties and extended-stay visitors parking in front of our home. The paint was peeling off our walls in just about every room, the olde property manager, Sarah, was wonderful and work with you on maintenance issues, etc. Then, she left and everything really went downhill. They hired a prick in her place, got rid of the entire maintenance crew and hired one or two jokes in their stead. They used to have a great maintenance man who did an awesome job for years and worked all hours and was prompt getting there even though he lived forty-five minutes away. He started having health problems and had to take a few weeks off so Tiehen fired him. Don't live here if you want good service, decent maintenance, or are a moral person.
