My husband and I lived at The Bluffs for 8 months while he was at Fort Riley and when we first got there, everything was great. The staff was friendly and the apartment was nice. After a few months you could tell that the apartments were just thrown together in a hurry and things started to fall apart. Our dishwasher broke and it took them 3 weeks to come and fix it. There is never any parking due to the construction. The walls are paper thin and we could hear everyone in our complex. The staff also always had a reason to come to the apartments during the day when no one was home. When we were ready to move out the manager did not have a clue on what we needed to do. She told us that we could get our carpets cleaned (it's in their policy to get the carpets cleaned before you leave) after the move-out inspection, but 2 days before we were leaving another person on the staff changed our move-out inspection because they had to wait 24-hours AFTER the carpets were cleaned. They also lost our file so it took longer to get our deposit back. If you are planning on living there, DONT STAY FOR TOO LONG! The staff is nice but they need to communicate better and work on making their tenants a little happier.
