The Bluffs is an awful place to live. The management is horrible. They are always in your apartment for some reason or another, leaving messages on your door for everything form cigarette butts, parking issues, animals, to you name it. They will not work with you when you move out. I deployed to Iraq in October 2008, and I am still trying to work things out with them from when I moved. I was present for the walk-through, and even signed the paper. Then when I left they added all kinds of stuff on to it, like replacing the whole carpet and charging me $200 for a microwave that didn't even come with the apartment when I moved in. I have written them several e-mails, but there isn't much I can do from Iraq. They won't respond to any of them. I would not recommend living here. They look nice and the location is great, but they are cheaply made and the management does not care about their tenants. I would strongly recommend looking for somewhere else to live.

My husband deployed at the same time and I moved shortly after, also doing a walk-through with management, and later received a bill with a large amount of extra charges just as you did. In addition, they billed me an astronomical charge for 17 days worth of electric after I had moved out, since I moved out in the middle of the month. I am still working to get this fixed months later as well, and am about to hand it over to my attorney. This whole thing has been such a pain.
