Fox 4 Problem Sovlers: Service Sacrifice
Kansas City, KS-- A soldier calls Fox 4 Problem Solvers after a battle with her apartment complex. Specialist Marci Edgar received her orders to leave for Army training Sunday, forcing her to move from Creekwood Apartments in Kansas City, Kansas. The soldier says the apartment manager told her she'd have to pay for October and lose part of her deposit, because she didn't give the required 30 days notice. Specialist Edgar says that was impossible, because she was only given 6 days notice to leave.
Fox 4 Problem Solvers tried to contact Creekwood's apartment manager several times by phone and in person, and no one would talk to us. Fox 4 also referred Specialist Edgar to Ft. Leavenworth's JAG officers, who agreed to look into her case and possibly provide legal assistance. Fox 4 Problem Solvers will continue it's quest to talk with Creekwood.
