I lived there in the late 1990's so there might be a different mgr there now. I hated to be caught in the elevator with the security man he was also a security man at KU med and lived there at RT. He always asked me out knowing that I was taken, he made me feel very uncomfortable.

I was attacked in the Garage by someone that just got in to keep warm from the winter weather. I parked my car, and proceded to go into the building and I was taken from the back side. Luckily I maced him and I wasnt hurt, BUT I told the mgt and also called the police that same night for Terry Hoover to show up and nothing was done,NOTHING. The manager told me that I should have been more careful, now what is wrong with this picture!
I live far away from there now with 2 kids of my own that we didnt have at the time, I am so glad that I dont have to raise my kids there, I would rather move to a cramped apartment than RT. I believe that an apartment complex should protect the tenants, NOT punish them for something that happened to them so they dont have to take sole responsiblity and maybe look into UPPING the security. The mgt NEVER thought anything was their fault, NEVER. Carol was the manager at the time, I doubt she is still there and I hope they fired her. I notice the mgr that is there now, was not there the years that I was there so I can see that she is a different one, thank God!
