*****This is a RE to my initial entry...I spoke with a neighbor who imformed me they were home when this shooting took place. Actually there were quite a few witnesses of this whole ordeal. It turns out that the truth is someone was MURDERED!! There was a group of men in the front parking lot. Whatever happened ended in a man being shot & killed. In addition there were 4 cars that were towed away for Police evidence. They don't do all this for a suicide...So you can assume that the KCK Police were reluctant to release the truth to me when I contacted them. So even though I wrote my last sentence regarding knowledge of a suicide, I will again close with the same words...WHAT IS THIS WORLD COMING TO'''****END****I was very freaked out when I saw the entry that said someone had been shot & killed in the complex on July 7th!! I know that about 1-2 weeks ago there was a shooting at The Boelvard apartments. So I called the KCK Police Dept, and an officer returned my call. He said that to their knowledge the investigation reported the death as a suicide. Someone did shoot them selves in the early afternoon on July 7th, and did not survive. This is not much more comforting, but at least it helps me from having to pack my stuff and move out ASAP. I just wanted to put this in here so if you read that you can rest a little easier. But now that I am not afraid for my life, I am finding myself saddened by the fact that someone was so unhappy that they took their own life. I am sure that there had to be at least 1 person that cared for this person's wellbeing. What is this world coming too''''
