This is a great place to live if you are looking for a horrible place to live. I have lived here 3 years and the standards have conitualy declined. Since I have lived here the apartment above and beside have been broken into, numerous cars have been stolen and broken into, and someone was mugged in the parking lot at gun point. You wouldn't think a 900 sq ft apartment could be drafty. Other incidences included racoons in the ceiling, mice, and an eviction notice that was caused by "a filing error".
The final straw was when the apartment complex lost our dog. Management called me at work to ask if they could shampoo our carpets. I of course said yes and asked them to send over the maintenance lady who was a good friend so that she could put our 12lb wiener dog in her crate. Well management never asked the maintnenace lady. 3 hours later I receive a phone call saying my dog ran away. Turns out she was missing 2 hours before they bothered calling me. After 48 hours of searching we luckily found the dog in the woods. When I called asking management if they were going to reinburst us for lost wages, flyers, or ads in the newspaper I was chewed out. Perfect example of management more concerned about $$ than tenants.
Great place to live 20 years ago. Now lack of routine maintenance and managements lack of concern has resulted in a ceiling covered in water spots, cracks in numerous walls, a front door jam that has shifted so badly it can only be locked with a dead bolt, and unpleasant place to live.
The only positive thing that can be said is the helpful maintenance team. Unfortunatley for them they are understaffed. If you ever need any maintenance performed you better contact them directly because everything the "always changing" management are envolved in, they eff up.
