Yo!

Unsafe, too expensive, amazingly rude staff, mediocre quality.

Crime is definitely a problem and the management is not interested in even recognizing the issue, and certainly not doing anything about it. Had my car broken into and several neighbors have had similar or worse.

The actual apartments are not too bad. Location is great, apartments are a bit old, but doable, and the grounds are quite enjoyable. Take into account the fact that the hot tubs usually don't work and the pool is often used by many people who don't live here.

The management is the main issue, they are unresponsive to service requests, are rude and dismissive, and are generally disagreeable people to work with.

Recommendation-- keep looking, this one's not worth the hassle.

Ah ha! This is the exact thing I speak of. Let me translate, "If you don't like anything at Madison, go fly a kite." As management, you are responsible for keeping the maintenance crew on task, and you can ignore the security issue, but when people know there is a problem, they may choose to pay rent elsewhere. Best, A lowly renter

you may think that the office staff is unresponsive to the maintenance requests, but we put it in the computer and enter it and then it is up to maintenance to get it done. we are in the office, not maintenance. and as far as crime, we have nothing to do with your crime. you call a police officer and file a report and hope you have renter's insurance as you are required to have in the first place. stop being a baby and deal with it.

What about the pool issue? My partner and I are thinking about making the move to Madison when our current lease is up. Are you doing anything about non-residents using the pool? If we move to Madison, we don't want to be dealing with non-resident issues.
