I have been a resident of Aberdeen apartments for 2 years now.
First of all how old are we' I see and hear more whining from this website than I do at my girlfriends first grade teaching job.
For the love of god I thought only adults could lease apts.
but this website surely shows that some people are just a bunch of snibling little children.
I'm pretty sure before I sign anything having to do with money, especially a large sum of money throughout the year I read everything to make sure I know what i'm getting myself into.
But thats just me...I'm sure you have to have some kind of degree to understand that.
Or maybe mommy and daddy should hold your hand your entire life instead of just the first 18 years.
As for the carpet cleaning fee...I completely understand that the carpets need to be cleaned between every tenant.
I would find it pretty disgusting if they were not.
Oh yea and if you don't want them to withhold the money from your deposit...here's a silly idea, call and get it done yourself!! Oh but wait that would mean doing a grown up thing.
I find it easier to have it already taken out of money I have paid rather than pay it up front.
As for the admin fee...ya it sucks but nobody forced you to live here...when they told you about it and you start to sign it you could have decided not to pay the fee by living somewhere else.
But once again that would have meant doing a grown up thing and looking around some more.
Maybe if some of you took as much time paying attention at the time of the lease as you did writing and whining on this website you would have known what to expect back from your deposit.
As for the problems...yea I've had a couple but what apartment complex doesn't.
The bugs..big deal they are bugs..how old are we again' Snow removal could be better but once again not a huge thing.
Bottom line is the apartments are very nice and are very reasonably priced for what you get.
If people whine this much on this website I can only imagine what the office staff has to listen to.
Maybe they have changed hands so much because all of them have hung themselves listening to all of the poor excuses for adults.
These apartments are great and I am very happy here...as for the children who can't seem to grow up...Go cry to mommy and daddy you little SH*Ts.

I like how the "grown ups" opinion is rife with swear words and bad grammar. Nice. The rhetoric DOES sound very familiar...much like many of the rude people that work in the Aberdeen offices. Coincidence? I think not.

This guy is full of $hit. It's probably the guy that runs the show for swan management at these apartments and frankly, he sucks. Instead of trying to make things better, this is his idiotic management skill. To sign up under a fake name and do this. I lived there for a year from 2007 to 2008 and I am still pi$$ed of at my experience there. This guys will rob you blind if they can. I will post a full review in the next 24 hours and I will be signed up for it - it's a promise.

The guy above...your pathetic. But I do take back my review of Aberdeen...I moved out and boy did they take me for a ride. These apartments are terrible. There are spiders everywhere..this last summer was really, really bad. They leak air and your utility bill will be close to $300.00 in the summer and winter, its like you always have a window open. The bugs just crawl through underneath the front door. Mold everywhere...and then they try and blame you for it. Washing machine was louder than a train. Dog poop everywhere you walk. Partys all the time, the thinest walls ever. If you live in a bottom unit BEWARE...you will hear everything going on in the apartment above, even when they have sex. Crackheads and crazies everywhere. Abandon cars everywhere, it's like a dragstrip in the parking lot. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!!!! AND DON'T LET THEM TALK YOU IN TO STAYING AT THEIR OTHER PLACE ALVADORA...JUST THE SAME EXCEPT WAY OVERPRICED NEW. And the employees at the complexes...shady, stupid, immature, unprofessional, disfunctional, unhelpful, lie to your face, people.
