I just moved in here in July, but I recently got transferred to another state with my job. I thought that I was screwed since I was in a lease until next August. The manager let me break my lease. She seemed disappointed that I wasn't going to be staying but acted like she understood. She was very nice about the whole ordeal. Though my time at berkeley was short lived I loved it while I was there.

right, but how much did that cost you with the 10% break fee and accellerated rent? Might want to read that section of the lease before you sign with this guy's opinion stuck in your head.
