My first disappointment was on move in day - the apartment they gave us had a completely different floor plan than the one they showed us. Our furniture didn't fit right so that was interesting.
Soon after we discovered that whenever we use our oven it sets off the smoke alarm and burns everything. We calld for maintenence and he said that was normal and did nothing about it. So basically we use our microwave alot and rarely have real meals.
The manager has been out on maternity leave - which is understandable - but that the leasing agents she left in charge can't make any final decisions, I find it ridiculous that she left her complex unattended for so long.
There is a parking problem, often times at night you have to park at another building because your lot is full. Also, there isn't enough lighting outside at night - it is very dark and makes me nervous.
Though these are the best priced apartments in town for the size and quality of the apartment. I could stand to pay more for staff who care.

Colony Woods only has one style of apartment! I've transferred over the years to different apartments and they all look the same. Personally, I love the staff this year, they're much nicer than the old office girls. |
