Colony Woods aka FELONY WOODS now known as Campus Court at Naismith is an alright place to live. I've read over comments & realized how people are talking about the crime (AKA FELONY WOODS), but there is gonna be pyscho boyfriends and drug abusers EVERYWHERE and ANYWHERE you go! So, people are going to have to get through that.

The management, when we moved in Ashley (who was also from what I heard from maintance was fired) showed us the apartment & helped us get settled in. We were told that the water heater had broke & caused a little problem & that the carpets were gonna be cleaned & they were, but what seemed like a half ass job. We also had little problems that we turned in, but weren't fixed until we bugged and bugged them. Also, my toilet had backed up because living in apartments you have the same plumbing and I had no problem w/ the 24 hour on call maintence guy coming & fixing the problem, but it had flooded into our kitchen & they told us they would get the carpets clean ... well, that never happend until ONCE again I threw a fit. You can't promise a tenant that you will do something & not do it.

Also, w/ new management ... I'm a smoker, that smokes outside. I had an ashtray on my heater that had fell towards the wall and I was unaware of it. Instead of being nice about it and telling me about the mess, they left a note charging our account $25. When I called to talk to them about it, they said we had to keep the porch clean living by the show room, but do you think the neighbors above on both side got $25 charged for throwing their butts in the yard (plus our yard!) ... from my understanding, NOPE!

The walls are thin and it drives us crazy because above us lives a little girl that is running through the house early in the morning. I'm not upset w/ them because it's not their fault that the building is crap! You can hear when your neighbors are taken a shower and running the sink and yes ... other things!

I think other than that, the apartments are alright .. could be worse, ya know' There is a lot of partyin', but we're 5 blocks from the college & this is a cheap place for college students. Like mentioned, everywhere you go (apartment wise) you're gonna have partyin' along w/ crime & drugs.

The only thing I have an issue w/ is that they are advisting in the Apartment Finder book that they have tanning beds and built in basketball courts and that isn't here YET! When I called to ask about when this stuff is coming, the only answer I could get was COMING THIS FALL' So, why advertise it NOW' I also know that the washer & dryers are gonna be in the living room closet (for those that don't think there is room) and they are waiting on their permits from the city to start the hookup for that & they were suppose to start on counters in the C building this week. Just for those that do live here & are wondering ... if you live here & wanna check out what the new apartment is gonna look like (LOTS OF WHITE) ... check out F-1 << thats the show room apartment. They usually leave the blinds open! That's just 1 thing I'm gonna hate, ALL THE FREAKIN' WHITE! Having a toddler, NO DEPOSIT BACK FOR ME!

Overall, if you live an indoor swimming pool and hot tubs ... this is a place for you! :) If you don't like the party scene, then don't look @ apartments.
