We moved in to Chase Court in August. Prior to moving in, we recieve three different phone calls with three different amounts for what we owed on our deposit. All of them were wrong. The management is incompetant, they've lost my rent at least once (they cashed the check and tried to tell me I needed to pay again). First Management is one of the largest rent companies in lawrence, and they suck.
The apartments look pretty on the outside, but they're not well insulated, and it's expensive to keep them warm in the winter. You can also hear everything that your neighbors do, especially at night.
The pet fees and other fees that they tack on are ridiculous. We're spending $810 a month for ------ service.
They recently fired the maintence man (and everyone know it, how unprofessional), so if you have a maintenence emergency, you're ----ed.
Overall, Chase Court has not been a good place to live. They charge way too much and give you way too little.
