I live at Chase Court and I can hardly wait until my lease is up. I chose to live here because it is nice and close to campus, however I regret that. Everyone I have talked to that lives here has serious spider problems and they're not just regular spiders, they are wolf spiders. I live on the second floor and I still somehow have SOO many spiders it's disgusting. I have one of those outdoor lights on the side of the building right above my bedroom window and during the summer the bugs flock to that at night and somehow they get EVERYWHERE inside my room not just spiders but EVERYTHING. During the summer I had to stay at my boyfriend's house almost every night because there were spiders all over my bed!!! I called the management but they said that they only have an exterminator a couple of times a year so there was nothing they could do about it. Actually, the exterminator that comes is only the maintenance man and he simply squirts a few sprays here and there and then moves on to the next apartment and it didn't seem to help at all. And I have to say that the pet fee is ridiculous- $400- that's as much as most people's monthly rent. And the rent for Chase Court isn't worth it. With bills, the monthly total is around $900 for a one bedroom. And then there's the fact that the girls that work in the office have no idea what they are doing. They treat their paying customers like crap and they have no idea how to be professional, which figures because I know the owner of First Management and he is a total mess. They even called me saying that they lost my deposit check and they wanted another one but that ended when my angry dad called them and mailed them a copy of the check that he had written. Overall, it is not worth the money, the service is crap, and you are sharing your apartment with hundreds of poisonous critters that First Management does not give a damn about.

Well the girls in the office are clueless I will give you that, but I have lived here for years and I have seen maybe 5 spiders in all those years. AS for the bugs, insects are attracted to lights, doesnt matter where you live. Don't want the bugs on your porch? turn the light out at night.
