Very small apartments (1br is 450 sq.foot! Now even though it says one bedroom, there is a half wall between the living room and bedroom and no door to the bedroom, just a doorway. Also there is no lock on the bathroom door. Basically it is mostly a studio. Perfect for one person but don't try living with your boyfriend/girlfriend in a one bedroom.
Everything good about it includes that it is a newer building so all the appliances are newer and in great condition. Not central air so you can control heating and cooling yourself. The office staff is really nice and always waves to me or says hi. The two maintainance workers live on the property and I always see them around. They are very prompt about fixing anything that goes wrong.
The laundry facilities were recently renovated and are very nice. The community is nice as well. West side Lawrence is generally nicer. I can go walking all of the time and feel perfectly safe. There aren't many college students living here so it's pretty quite. I can OFTEN hear my upstairs neighbors walking around and the toilet flush above us, but I can't hear any loud talking, music, or TV etc.
Ultimately it is resonable price wise but I would only suggest it for a single person who won't do much entertaining. The two bedroom would be a good idea for anyone else.
PS. they are raising the price from 420 to 430 a month
