I have lived at The Greens for about 4 years now. Since I have been living here I have yet to see any management of color until a few months ago. They hired a nice young black lady, and she didn't last for more that 5 months. They now have a very annoying young man, who happens to be white. I don't know what it is about lawrence, but it is very difficult to see any people of color in a professional setting. This is very disturbing.There two leasing girls are rude and don't deal well with the residents. I am moving out this year and hope that The Greens will make better decisions in who they employ. Also the rent is way to high to have such old appliance.

Hi, let me introduce myself. I'm the "annoying white young man" Rob. I am sorry your experience at the Greens has not been up to your standards. If you contact me at the office, I will do whatever I can to make the remainder of your stay here a pleasant one. Obviously, your time here at Alvamar has not been that bad, you have renewed your lease agreements and stayed with us for 4 years. My goal is to make our valued residents here at Alvamar enjoy their stay with us. If you would contact me here at the office I would love to have the chance to make your stay a happy one.

Thanks for this post...I will rent from apartment complexes that employ persons of color...it is difficult to explain covert racism to white guys.
