I've lived In GA, PA, IA, CA, MI and many other places due to education or job and the Greens of Alvamar is the WORSE PLACE I'VE EVER LIVED!!! I had to call for the first 2 months at the apartment to get both toilets repaired. Dishwasher had horrible mildrew smell that made whole apt. smell. They came out 3 times to say it was repaired, but the smell stayed. Finally they said there was nothing they could do. A co- worker said her brother lived at Greens years ago. One year there was a tornado and the wind blew off his back door. She said it took the management 2 weeks to put the door back on. He had to put a sheet over the opening until it was repaired. He was afraid that his property would be stolen. Horrible.

You have to fight a multitude of bugs flying around front door lite to get in & out of apt. Birds crap everywhere leading to your front door. Then comes the time when your entire front stoop is covered for weeks, months with dead and flying Lady Bugs. You have to run inside and shut the door so they don't fly in the apartment. Just rotten!!!

The parking is terriblly far from your front door. It's very hard to bring groceries in or large packages because you have to walk so far. Then when you reach your front door all of these flying bugs swarm you. Inside the apt. there are lots of spiders and some type of small snail looking bug that's on the carpet or climbing the walls. I've had pest control out to the apt. more than once.

When the wind blows outside it's very loud. Visitors asked me if we were having a storm one time. The loud howling noise is due to all of the spaces around the many windows in the apartment. Mgmt is VERY SLOW to repair ANYTHING. In bathrooms when water turned on there's a loud knocking in the wall & when you wash clothes. The electric bill is crazy high -example $165 one month & it's just me in the apt. Both bathtubs were filthy before move in, they promised to clean them & bird crap on patio and NEVER DID.

There are HUGE POTHOLES on the entire property that they don't repair.

After the time changed I called many times for them to turn the outside lights on because I couldn't see to put my key in the lock and it wasn't safe. I took over a month for them to finally turn the outside lights on.

They DON'T clear the sidewalks of ice and snow in the winter. I called over 20 times for them to clear sidewalks, THEY DIDN'T CLEAR ICE OR PUT SALT DOWN AND I FINALLY FELL. NOW THEY HAVE CALLED ME A LIAR ABOUT THE ICE AND ARE NOT PAYING FOR MY MEDICAL BILLS. I've been IN OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY FOR MY WRIST FOR OVER A MONTH. The management office refused to give me the name of their insurance company or their lawyer.

As stated this is the WORSE PLACE I'VE EVER LIVED and I've lived in many apartments. It's not worth the rent, lack of maintenance, lazy repairman and management office, or the trouble of just getting in and out of the apartment. Not to mention the outrageous electric bills.

If I could rate the Greens of Alvamar a minus 100 I would do so! As others have stated RUN!!!! Any good reviews have to had been written by someone that works for the Greens of Alvamar. Many people have moved!!!
