My roommate and I lived at Harper Square for a year and were very happy there. It has a quick commute to the KU campus and since it's right on the eastern edge of Lawrence it's a great place to live if you commute back to Kansas City a lot (which I did). The property is very well maintained (they take particular pride in their landscaping) and the only time we ever had a problem they were out that afternoon to fix it. Parking has never been an issue, and neither has noise. It's a very quiet complex, which is a nice draw in a college town. Also, the appliances were up to date and the carpeting was brand new. Both of our rooms had huge walk-in closets and the bathroom was ENORMOUS. The floorplans are very spacious and comfortable. Give it a try, if I ever move back to Lawrence, Harper Square is at the top of my list.
