To start with as for the previous review that sure does sound like a member of the HighPointe Staff. That is so typical of them to lie and deceit hard working students and consumers. Any one that would recommend this place must have hearing- sight and the speaking ability of HELEN KELLER- Ever since I have lived here my living arrangements have been a living nightmare. Place was filthly when I moved in- and my roomate even noticed blood splatters in odd spots of his bedroom wall,like they tried to clean it up but did a half-ass job. Management in particular ----- has a mager attitude problem with just about everyone and will try to rip anyone off. I talked to the Maitnence Guy the other day and he said out of 160 units- 125 are moving out- and that they only signed 23 new leases. He even complained about management and hope that he could be transfered. Maitnence is well skilled but so backed up that it takes him a while to repair things. So be prepared to wait at least 3 days for a broke toilet or no running water. The windows leak so be prepared to wear a raincoat in the spring and an icescrapper in the winter. During the summer it is so hot I walk around naked because the windows leak and the AC bairly works. Not to mention Iam constanly sick from the build up of black mold that can be found over the unit. Bleach wont even take care of this major problem. The staff constanly puts solicitation on your door which only adds to the already overfilling landfill that exist outside all over the property. This landfill includes used condoms, feces, tacobell wrappers, beer cans and even someones underwear. On the street beside the mailboxes a sleezy van can be seen with people having sex in it. I have personally seen this 3 times. I kid you not, and this was during the middle of the day. Managment even had the nerve to tell me who I could have in my unit and at what times. Neighbors bang on floor at all hours and run around breaking your lights outside. Some even walk around at odd hours harrassing guests that are leaving my home. Rapes have occured not once not twice but on three diffrent occasions, so be sure you have a loaded gun when you walk out to your car at night. I just think its funny that management would front as a resident to try an attract innocent victims to such a hell hole or mean such failing operation. Hope you take Xanax if you sign a lease at highpointe. The sound of your dryer alone will make you crazy. I come to you as a fellow student, consumer, worker, and Citzen and I warn you to stay away from Highpointe. This lease has caused me many psychological problems.
