if you like being charged for random things throughout your lease, by all means this is the place for you.
Perhaps you'd like to pay $100/ year for the tanning bed that was installed this past semester.
Or for the bus that you never ride.
Or, my personal favorite...
and I quote: "As of Dec.
1, 2007, we have the right to add charges to your rate as we see fit." My roommate and I were charged an extra 30 bucks this past month in electric, because "it's been colder than last year." DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE OUTRAGEOUS RENT PRICES.
Not to mention, I believe legends should be given a new name, "the sophomore dorms." I have way too many rude, messy, loud, inconsiderate neighbors who do nothing but disrupt the peace, drink, and smoke pot.
I complained many times to management in my first semester, who cover their asses by saying "we are just following policy..." In otherwords, by signing your contract you have given up any chance of not being bull-shitted by the corporate office and it's brainless on-site dummies who run the office.
Don't bother complaining because it won't do any good.
I cannot WAIT to get out of these overpriced, way to noisy apartments run by useless staff.

Maybe you should contact your better business buereu or Fair Housing. Have you considered getting active with your complaints instead of just writing about them on a website? If you feel like you are being taken advantage of do something about it. Contact a lawyer (i'm sure dad has one). you have a voice in this- use it. Don't allow these people to take advantage of you guys!

Wow, that's too bad that you've had such a bad experience. I was just going to post a review when I saw yours and had to respond. I've been living at Legends for 2 1/2 years and have nothing but good things to say about them. And the office has always been nice. You just don't like your neighbors so you don't like the whole place. I've lived at another complex in town and this is way better than that one where the police were there constantly breaking up parties and fights. It really is a nice place and yes, the rents are high but worth it-to me anyway. Just my opinion - like yours was just your opinion.
