I have lived at Legends Place for a while now and overall haven't been that impressed. I think the apartments themselves are nice for the price, the convenience of an individual lease is nice, but that's about as good as it gets.
When we moved in, our apartment was disgusting; the carpet was horribly stained and dirty, dust, dirt, old food, among other things were all over our apartment. The toilet in my bathroom was covered in black mold. Clearly they made no attempt to clean the apartment before we moved in. I will give them some credit as they did have the carpets shampooed after we called and complained. One weekend our washing machine started to flood our kitchen, we called the office, they told us it would be about four days before they could get someone over to look at it; after being on the phone with them for over 30 minutes they finally sent one of the girls from the office, who clearly knew nothing about fixing washing machines, as she was too busy blaming us for "breaking" it, instead of finding a solution to getting it fixed. The managers are at times, extremely disorganized and rude. They started calling me two months before I was supposed to move in, threating me with legal action regarding my late rent; my lease didn't begin for two months. I called them to attempt to sort it out, nobody would call me back, I had to go up there to get it cleared up; the manager never apologized, she just told me that I don't have to pay it (which I already knew). Some of the other residents seem to have a total lack of respect for their neighbors and the apartment grounds; (I am aware this is not the apartments fault, just something to be cognizant of) there is always broken beer bottles on the sidewalks, in the grass, and in the parking lot. The complex cleans it up as soon as they can, but they should work more on trying to prevent it.
Overall it's not a terrible apartment, I personally wouldn't live there again, but as long as you watch your monthly bill very closely, make sure your apartment is cleaned before you move in, and don't mind a lot of weekend noise, you will do fine.
