This place is a total joke.

The management of this apartment needs some serious work.
The staff all has personal keys that allow them access to every room in the apartment complex and use these said keys to enter apartments at their pleasure.
I cannot tell you how many times I have woken up with a strange man walking into my LOCKED bedroom in order to "fix" a maintanance problem.
I am extremely allergic to mold and have mold growing on my windows.
I have to constantly clean the sill off because new mold accumulates every night.
The caulk in the window has been replaced 4 times and still will not stay because of the moisture will not allow the caulk to set and dry.
I have taken pictures of the mold on the sill and even placed them on facebook.
The management will not call residents back on serious problems but I received a call barely 2 hours after I posted the pictures by the head management telling me how I needed to remove the pictures because "they did not want a bad reputation for the apartment comples" which makes me laugh considering they refuse to fix problems but at the same time will not allow their residents to talk about the problems.
Our metal kitchen chairs are all completely broken.
We have been trying for 4 months now to get new chairs for our apartment.
We cannot use out kitchen table (which is also falling off the wall) because we cannot sit there without fearing falling on the floor.
When we asked them why we havn't had any chairs put into our apartment they told us it was "because all the chairs in the backstock were broken as well." Well what the hell' How can ALL the chairs be broken' When my roommate called and first told the management that our chairs were broken the first thing she replied with was "what have you been doing with them'" Not, oh well I apologize for having such crappy furniture or We need to start checking out the apartments before we have new residents moved in, but she blamed us for breaking them.
When we first moved into the apartment, which was a task in itself, it was obvious our carpets had not been cleaned.
They smelled of urine and had numerous spots, stuck gum, and mysterious stains in the carpet which we are still afraid to get near.
When we called and told them that our carpet was not clean, they responded with "well you will need to pay for it if we get someone in there to clean them." We should not have to pay for something that should have been done before we moved in.
Speaking of moving in, I was not able to move in until the day after everyone else moved in.
They failed to notice that the resident before me had punched several large holes in the wall and completely tore apart the bedroom door.
They did not fix these problems until right up until the hour before they told me I could move in and would not allow me to move in until they had finished.
I live with two female friends and living on a first floor apartment that faces the back lot of the apartment complex.
Our porch door lock broke and was not fixed for two weeks.
When I confronted the management about this problem (and also considering there is a rapist running around this part of town raping women) and they informed me that they were not allowed to acknowledge this problem due to the fact of gender discrimination.
On top of the almost $500 a person we pay a month, the Legends try to put on electrical fees.
In January we EACH had a fee of $75 places ontop of our $500 rent.
BS right' Thats the equivalent usage of a large home, not a 1000 square foot apartment.
There are reasons for this problem.
1.
our windows have no seals and are constantly leaking air into the apartment.
2.
they refuse to change the filters
3.
we have no seals on our doors.
when they powerwashed the breezeways outside the apartment we had 2 inch sticks, mud, and leaves blown into our kitchen from underneath the doors.
that should not happen
4.
our dryer lint has not been cleaned out for most likely the entire time they have been hooked up in the apartment.
we are afraid to clean the vents for fear that something might break and we will get charged.
There are plenty of other problems with living here and I'm going to finish by saying this.
Do not be fooled with their bribes and foolery.
Resist and find a better place to live, where the management respects their residents and doesn't treat them like crap
