I lived in the Legends for 4 years, in the same apartment. At one point I would have told you that the only thing that sucked was the location, since it was a bit of a drive to campus. But after a series of awful encounters with the management, I would advise anyone looking to live there, to look else where.

First off, they WILL stiff you on your "included utilities." Apparently included only counts to a certain point, and over the summer we were charged about 30 extra dollars each per month.

Second, there were several times that I went to speak with someone in the office about a handful of things (our utility bill, lost packages, parking lot repaving, ect) and was treated like a child, and not given any answers. On most of these occasions, my dad would call and inquire about the same thing, and would be given answers and information immediately. This is degrading and makes no sense, considering I was the tenant. The most recent example of this is that since my July move out date, I have been waiting for my 200 dollar deposit check. I have called several times (since I now live out of state) and have been told it is coming and to be patient. Now that is has been almost 4 months with no check, I had my dad call today, and he was informed that the check will be mailed out today. Uhhhh what!!''

While the pool, exercise room and clubhouse seem are intriguing, I now realize it wasn't worth the headache of dealing the management. If I could do it again, I would trade the "luxuries"of The Legends for a house within walking distance of campus and the bars in a heartbeat.
