I feel like I was totally lied to about the complex. They talked up the apartment, but denied me and my roommate from even seeing it before we moved in. We weren't even allowed to look at another apartment that had our floor plan. The carpet was disgusting when we moved in and the apartment smelled of smoke; it was so gross! The water doesn't work properly and you get charged out the butt for "plus" apartments. The lady in the office is rude. The only thing I like about Meadowbrook is having a fitness room and pool. You have to use a laundry facility in the dingy basement that is absolutely horrid!

I don't understand where all this anger is coming from. If you were like me and did a fall reservation then you should not get angry about not being able to see your specific apartment because they hadn't assigned you one yet. I also don't see how your apartment was so gross especially since they require a four day period to do maintance. Unless of course you wanted to move in right after the original resident, which would be a stupid move on your part. As far as the water. I have lived in several apartments in the complex and I never once had an issue with water pressure or the lack of hot water. Plus if there was an issue I made a maintance request, and they came out that day and fixed it. So if your water didn't work you should have called it in, because maintance is free. The laundry being in the building is actually something that was really conveinent for me, but obviously you are a spoiled brat who doesn't know something good eventhough it is right in front of your face.

Ah, this anonymous poser must have been one of the "kids" renting at Meadowbrook. I say kids because it's obvious that this person either wasn't bothered by the noise or was one of the people who made noise. Don't get the panties in a bunch. Meadowbrook IS a D U M P.

To emswhiz... do you realize that Meadowbrook has a no tolerance noise policy. If you having problems with noise call the office. If the noise is being caused at night call 'security', and if that doesn't work call the police. I use to have issues with noise where I currently live so I called the office the next day. I was told that they could make a note, but couldn't do anything unless they heard it or I called the police so that there was record. So, I called the police. Then the next day I noticed there was an eviction notice on the persons door. I understand that some residents might make a lot of noise, but Meadowbrook response is fair and quick if they have sound evidence that a certian resident is making noise. Otherwise it is one person's word against anothers, which gets everyone nowhere.
