this was the worst place my wife and I have ever lived, we are both professionals. after six months of being harrassed by neighbors, of whom were arrested repeated for various violations from 'peepingtoms', 'public intoxication' and 'disturbing the peace'. WE WERE REPEATED WOKEN BY GUN-FIRE IN THE EARLY MORNING HOURS....We finnally moved OUT AT OUR COST..and thank God we did.....the managment pathetic at best, and would not dO anything to fix the above problems, except let the offenders finish their lease and then let them move on....in other words they did nothing....the managment thought and I quote."it might offend the tenants that where harrassing us"...if you are a professional "DO NOT MOVE TO MEADOWBROOK"...if you are a DRUNK and PEEPING-TOM then this is the place for you....

PS: if you send your kids here, then don't be dismayed if they aquire a drinking problem..or other social problems...

Of course if you send your kids to KU/Lawrence they will aquire a drinking problem-- they probably have one which you don't know about.

I wonder how true this actually is. . . sometimes those who complain the most are actually the ones causing the most problems. . . I've never had these kind of problems living at Meadowbrook (going on 6 years). In fact, my neighbors have been amazing! A couple of students and several young professionals live near me. I don't know the management very well, but that is because I've never had any problems with them. . . I would take this rating with a grain of salt.
