I have lived at the Parkway Townhomes since August of '08 and have had a generally good experience. (The Townhomes are owned and managed by Parkway Commons/First Management).
The apartment was fairly dirty when we moved in, especially in the cupboards, but the carpets were brand new. I am not sure when these townhomes were built, but they are in need of a face lift. The windows in our apartment do not fit their frames always, the doors are a bit off their hinges, and there is a significant gap in the back door, allowing far too many bugs to enter in the warm and rainy months. That has been my largest complaint -- the bugs. Living on a ground level, it's to be fairly expected, but they were not always empathic to the problem (they always did call the pest control, however). The walls are thin, and noise can be a problem, but usually only on rowdy weekends; this complex does have families, so people are generally pretty tame. The office staff is fair; they've been cooperative, but not always friendly. Overall, I would say if you're going to rent from First Management, Parkway Townhomes is a pretty safe place to live.
