Imagine this...you show up to move into your first apartment in a new city and 1) the people who are supposed to clean the place between tenants shows up 10 mins after you. 2) because the cleaning crew has just gotten there (they had been told not to show up by management), the place is still a sty, complete with broken cupboards, holes in walls and tears in the carpet 3) The AC has been blown out becuase painters were in the night before and ran the AC with no open windows (paint being blown into AC compressor = one busted AC). 4) With no AC you are forced to move everything you own in 105 degree heat. 5) Incompetent maintenance then spends the better part of the next 15 hours trying to fix the AC only to have to be told how to fix it by a friend of MINE over the phone. 6) Apartment manager is not on site...dullard in the office doesnt care about your problems.

This place was just bad. My smoke detector hung by its wires from the ceiling for several weeks. They finally got around to fixing it when I was out of town. I got back to my apartment to find the smoke detector laying on my living room floor covered in duct tape (yes, they tried to fix it with duct tape).

Oh yea, they also very cleverly screwed up my lease. I signed a 1 year lease that was 13 months long (a year is still 12 months right'). That one was my fault...shouldve noticed that before I signed.

In short, the place is G-hetto. too much money, too many problems and too many stupid people running the place.

Don't live here.

You should've left the smoke detector broken. Ours goes off for no reason whatsoever, and the off button doesn't work. We had to take it our the wall ourselves, and we're leaving it off until we move out.
