Horrible Living Experience

I had an absolutely horrible living experience in these apartments. I didn't have a phone line for the first month and a half that I leved there because management couldn't figure out how to fix the phone jack. I ended up re-wiring the phone line myself. While maintenance was trying to fix the phone line, they entered my bedroom early in the morning without knocking...I was asleep at the time. the apartment manager Deborah entered the apartment, and banged on my door, and my roommate's door teling us to get the "f" up. Despite having a policy making it possible to pay rent late while incurring late fees, the manager would send out 3-day eviction notices on the 5th of the month (rent isn't even late until the 6th), and not leave it on your door until the 6th or 7th. I had to call the police 4 times while living n the apartment complex for reasons ranging from a stolen car from the parking lot to drug dealers living down the hall from me.
They exhibit no care for their tenants whatsoever. In the last month I was there, the lights went out on the outside of the building and in the hallway. My roommate and I both called the "Emergency Maintenance line" to report the problem since someone tried to break in to our apartment while there were no hallway lights. So far they haven't been fixed, presenting a very dangerous situation for all of the tenants.

Legally apartment complexes have to send out 3 day eviction notices once the rent is late (in this case the 6th). Yes, while you can still incur late fees, the property must do their duty to inform you that you will be evicted if you do not pay. In other words, it is a helpful notice for tenants so they can avoid being evicted. Most properties send the notice out on the 6th and file evictions on the 10th.
