It took them 6 weeks after I moved in to fix things such as no screen for my windows, a broken door, etc. Also, a violent tenent who lived near me harassed me many times and the police were called on him many times though Peppertree did not follow rules and regulations by evicting him. Later, my apartment was broken into and vandelized. This is after he kicked my door in with me home and kicked off my chain lock. My apartment was broken into a few months previous as well. Management was also more than rude and I am happy to not live there or have contact with any of them.

Heed my warning, do not live here!

I just want to comment on the chain locks they have now there...they are attached to the cheap faux-wood trim around the door, which are held on by a few small nails. On one occasion, maintainence tried to enter when the chain was on, and the trim was ripped off. So in summary, we have a chain that doesn't stop intruders from entering, and destroy the trim around the door.

I live in the apartments now and it looks like they just removed the chain locks without replacing them, or the door, or the trim. There are holes in the door and trim where you can see the chain lock used to be...
