I have never lived at an apartment complex before that didn't allow for cable television and cable modem internet. I probably hadn't lived here for more than a month when I received my first eviction notice for nonpayment of rent. I showed our manager my receipt for paying the months rent and did so in a nice, polite, respectful manner. From what I understand, her and the other employees didn't like me because I was on Section 8. I spoke with a women who used to work at the complex as the asst. manager. She told me that herself, the manager and maintenance person had went into my apartment while I wasn't home and searched through my belongings. She was telling me the truth too. She knew what I had in my cabinets, closet, and drawers. She even threatened to steal my computer. I asked why they searched my apartment. She told they wanted to find out where I was going to college at so the could get me kicked off Section 8.

Another problem is that they allow the tenants to have dogs. My upstairs neighbor had a dog that would bark really loud every time someone would enter or leave the building. The neighbor across the hall had a dog too. Every she would bring it out of her apartment it would bark and growl at me like it wanted to bite me! The management refused to do anything about it.

Lets talk about the crazy cop that lives there. Just yesterday he came to my apartment saying that there had been complaints of someone smoking marijuana in the building. He actually had the nerve to ask me if he could come inside and search my apartment.

Do yourself a favor and don't move here! If you do, I can almost guarantee that you will not like it. So far, not one tenant that I know of has renewed their lease.
