GO ELSEWHERE!! LOOKS NICE AT A GLANCE, VERY DECEIVING!! I could not recommend signing any sort of lease or commitment with this complex!!! A few brief examples and suggestions of what to look for if you are interested in living here...1)Two weeks after moving in, there was a rainstorm and we found about two inches of standing water at the bottom of our stairs... in response to this, they stated "it doesn't do that unless it rains alot" to which no steps to keep it from happening again were even considered. 2) Make sure to check out the glorious waste disposal facilities they fail to mention during a tour -great if all you have to dispose of your trash is a compact car- 3) Take a look at the map they put on the back of their brochure... not at all deceiving how they make it look as though they are located about 4 blocks from campus. 4) The pool was closed several times throughout the season, and the hot-tub out of order. 5) The staff is extremely rude and inept, and they will not accept more than one rent check per apartment, very inconvenient if you have two other roomates. 6) Even the speedbumps are "built for the birds," not good on your car and you'll soon see what I mean. 7) These are just a few examples, but the most important... we finally reach the last month of our contract, to which we were so anxiously awaiting, and they tell us that we are to be out of our apartment by four because we had to set up an inspection. No big deal but if you're a student, you realize that usually you only have a day or two to move in to your next place. Everything went well with moveout, however we didn't have time to clean the carpet. Upon walkout, we mentioned we would have it cleaned because there were a few stains in the living area if they would give us that night, to which we received the response "Don't worry about it, you may be charged $75 to have it cleaned, but we'll take care of it." No big deal right' Might I add that the final inspection we signed off on a few minor things (light bulbs, some stains in dining room, etc.) and were awaiting our deposit refund. Two weeks later, we get a bill for $1400.00 for new carpet, this being on top of our deposit. WTF''' Nice carpet wouldn't cost near that much, let alone the commercial bulk crap they use. They gave us 30 days to respond to their lawyer, to which we did, and it took two months for them to respond back to us. Right now, we're in the process of a lawsuit with them because I refuse to get bent over by the rude, unprofessional management of Pinnacle Woods trying to take advantage of there tennants and cutting any corner they can to fine you or make a buck. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND LOOKING ELSEWHERE!!!!!!

You are so right! I lived there last year and it was horrible. I never would have thought about the trash situation before I moved in. My trunk still stinks from toting trash bags down to the dumpster!!!

I agree with this poster. The management of Pinnacle wood is really rude and they rip you off as much as they can. Real thieves.
