I have lived in this complex for one year and just renewed my lease in June. I have had a great experience living here and would recommend these apartments to anyone. Since it is located on the west side of Lawrence and K-10, it is a very convenient location for commuters to Topeka/KC.
Pool, gym and overall clubhouse facilities are kept up and very nice. They spray for insects and change the air filters in the apartment regularly. There is lots of lighting around the buildings. The landscaping changes to match the seasons and the staff is pretty friendly. My apartment has tons of closet space and my washer/dryer have their own separate room.
The only negative thing I have to say is that having only one assigned covered spot per apartment sometimes makes it difficult for your guests to park near your building.

There are nice places in Topeka that are closer to Lawrence. It is almost a half hour to campus or mass St. If you want to spend an hour driving downtown or to class this is the place for you. Also there landscaping is nice but has standing water in the commons area so they can not mow a week after it rains (half of summer) and if you ever go outside you will have to deal with the mosquitoes. And when it snows plan on waiting for it to melt unless you drive a snow plow to work
