George Waters Management is the worst management company in the world.
They are EXTREMELY RUDE when you call or stop by.
They don't really care if you get helped with anything.
The staff is completely lazy, and I am beginning to wonder if this George guy even exists because he certainly never returns calls, and when you ask to speak with him, he is "not in"...ever.
Maintenance requests are either not taken or taken after about a month of hounding them.
When I moved out, GW replaced a bunch of stuff that didn't need replaced and charged me misc.
"mystery fees", and gave me no deposit back.
Even though, during my walk through, they told me my place looked great and I should get all of my money back.
I would have taken them to court (and most likely won), but I am just a poor college student like everyone else in this town...we don't have the money to fight these unfair battles.
George Waters is trying to take advantage of every student in Lawrence.
They are horrible people to work with and the most unprofessional managment company I have ever encountered in my 6 years in this town.

Small claims court is only $50 to file. You should definately fight. These places don't have an army of lawyers - you CAN win.
