We had a 4 bedroom apartment at Sunrise for 14 months. We only lived there in the first place because it was so cheap, which turned out to be virtually the only positive aspect of our experience there.

My major beef with the apartments is that they were obviously built poorly. I say this because EVERY bug and spider in the 5-mile vicinity seemed to migrate to our apartment. Spiders were everywhere, especially during the spring, summer, and fall. I was actually bitten by a brown recluse in my bed one night; I found it dead between my sheets the same day I noticed my arm starting to swell from my wrist all the way to my shoulder. The last few months we lived there, rolly pollies invaded our apartment to the extent that I could spend only 5 minutes sitting on the living room couch and see at least 5 different rolly pollies crawling on the floor and even along the walls. It got so disgusting that I didn't sleep there the last week before our lease expired. During our pleasant stay at Sunrise, we informed the management numerous times about our bug problems, and to their credit they did respond by promptly sending an exterminator. Apparently, though, Sunrise is such a piece of crap that even frequent visits by the exterminators cannot keep the bugs out. Just for the record, too, I knew people living in three other units in Sunrise during the same time we lived there, and they all had similar problems.

The bottom line is, if your rent is as low as Sunrise's, there is probably a reason. It's because, otherwise, no one in their right mind would live there.
