The size of the apartment was great: 1 BR 1 bath at 750 ft, especially good size for the price ($435). But the place was in pretty bad shape and no one wanted to fix it. When they had problems with the pool, they filled it in with dirt and cement. Our place was full of cracks that were there when we moved in but we were charged for them when we moved out. When we first moved in, our oven broke almost immediately and took them over 3 months to fix. Maintenance guys took forever when you called them, but at other times they would randomly show up with no warning. I came home numerous times to strange men in my apartment that I didn't know would be there (i.e. no notice whatsoever) which is very scary for a single girl. When the apartment above us flooded and runied our apartment (along with the people above and below), maintenace took forever to come to fix water damage. We decided to break our lease. We didn't get a penny of our deposit back. The manager, Sheryl, dicked us around and threatened to call lawyers since we broke the lease to try to scare us so that we wouldn't even ask for a return on the deposit. Parking was pretty bad as there was little order to it and very few spaces. I'd suggest you avoid this unless you just want a cheap place to live that's a good size and very close to campus, but don't care about quality or surprise (and fairly constant) visits from maintenance men unless you call them. The place is pretty damn old, so expect to need repairs done pretty often.
