I've lived here for a few months now. It's true, the entire place smells funny and looks terrible, but inside our apartment is very cozy. We've had a few problems with the air conditioner and the garbage disposal, but after a few days the repairmen came to fix those. We've had some minor problems with neighbors throwing trash in our yard and a large but easy to take care of ant infestation, but it's more than made up for by the cheap prices, good location and laid back staff. The staff can be too laid back in a lazy "Deal with it yourself" kind of way, but that also means that they're too lazy to bother you if your harboring extra roommates, pets, a grill or any junk on your patio or anything else that goes against the rules.
