LMAO!!

I also just moved in, January 16th, 2008, and so far I like it here A LOT, too! I agree 100% with Phillip's review. I count him as a new friend here, since starting to get to know him, not long after I moved into my own new apartment here, myself. Things here at Planter's II, are great!

We have free bread that comes on Thursdays, ice cream gets sold on fridays, regular blood pressure checkups and diabetes education seminars, monthly BBQ, breakfast/dinner AND birthday parties, VERY VERY friendly neighbors and residents who are always wanting to help you get on your feet and help you with basic needs and things to get you "on your feet" while living here, AND a free reading library on the 10th floor, WITH Conference room! Vending machines in the dining room, a big screen TV in the lobby, piano, electric organ, and chairs to sit outside on the front porch near the front doors! park benches and a huge sprawling green lawn outside! LOTS of places for people to walk their pets ... etc etc... The list goes on! And the VIEW from my side of the building (I am on the 9th floor, facing east, overlooking the Missouri river and countryside) is rather breathtaking if I don't say so, myself!

... and let's just say, this building is pretty safe!
Thank God for the Leavenworth City Fire Department!
