Too many complaints of noise, ducks etc. to be written off. These were/are apts., and do (indeed) have common walls.

I lived in Tomahawk Creek town house almost for 5 years since 2004. My neighbor once had a party in their house and I didn't hear anything from other side of the wall unless I have to stick my ear on the wall. My other neighbor has hearing problem; she has to turn up loud on TV............. I can turn on my favorite radio on then I won't hear annoy sound from other side of the wall. My neighbor can hear when I do the dishes and it is really because I don't really have any furniture in my house and I have wood and marble floor so little bite of sound can bounce off the wall and create loud sound weave (?) However, I love to live here; it is great location so convenient to get to the high way and grocery and many more. Some people complain about the geese. (Probably they don't like animals) I didn't see any green stuff left behind them all over the place. It is true that by the water area at the main entrance way has some green drops. I learn from my dog try not to step on them. About the geese noise, I rather hear natural sound than industrial sound from the manufactures. Are they really blocking your way? It seems like it.they pretend to be the big one on the road by looking at you or even ignore you. Do not be scary or shock by it. Try to keep yourself calmed down and drive slowly towards to it. Eventually they will let you pass.
