This apartment complex's parking is horrible. I have lived here for over a year, but let me tell you that this year will be my last! I would have not signed another lease but I didn't want to go through the hassle of moving again. I MADE A HUGE MISTAKE IN THAT DECISION! The office staff is not of the friendliest nature and when you call with any kind of maintenance request, don't expect it to be done that day or even the next day. I have called multiple times with multiple concerns or repairs that me and my roommate needed and it has taken up to 5 days to have the problem resolved! Also, with respect to the parking, there are about 6 or 7 parking spots outside of our building. Our building is full of 2 and 3 bedroom apartments so there is obviously NOT adequate parking for the tenants let alone if we have any guests over! I called the office manager because my side view mirror was knocked off last night because I had to park on the curb - AS ALWAYS! They just told me that they were sorry and that they were not liable to fix it. I obviously understood that they were not liable BUT if there was adequate parking than my mirror wouldn't have been sticking out in the normal flow of traffic to be hit. She said they would discuss taking out one of the thousands of "islands/medians" and putting in parking spaces instead BUT it would not happen until at least next year when they had another Board Meeting. I will be out of the complex by then and to me, that resolves nothing for me only the new tenants. I hope that more parking is added and that the island is taken out to make room for new tenants but I have a feeling my concern will be pushing aside and never resolved. IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CAR, DON'T MOVE TO THESE APARTMENTS UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY AN EXTRA $30/MONTH FOR A COVERED PARKING SPOT OR $60 MONTH FOR A GARAGE! THAT IS REDICULOUS! This is just another way for the complex to make more money. They don't supply adequate parking so that you will have to pay for covered parking or a garage! I do not recommend anyone moving to move into these apartments.
