I have lived at several different apartments, and Barrington Park is by far my favorite. The staff is always friendly, the maintenance guys have been great (they shovel the walkways and sidewalks right after a snowstorm, fix any repair requests within two days, one guy even helped me open my car door when it was frozen shut). Parking has never been a problem for me, but I could see how it might be for other buildings. I don't have too much of a problem with sound from my neighbor's apartment- but it is true that noise from the basement can easily be heard. My only suggestion is to avoid getting an apartment with a fireplace- I have three plastic window covers sealing my fireplace, but can still feel a draft. I keep my apartment at 60 during the day and 67 at night and still had to pay $120 per month this winter for gas.
