Charter House

 

I lived here from 1993 to 1996.

Back then it was Charter Hell.

The former management was terrible.

It took ages just to fix the smallest item.

I had to call the city on them at least three times.

My apartment flooded three times in less then two months due to a sewer pipe backing up, yuck!!! The last six months the place became gangsta paradise due to the management not doing background checks on people to fill their quotas.

They went through maintenance men like a porn star goes through condoms.

The good things were the building was well insulated and I had low heat/electricity bills, and it was quiet.

I never had any problems with parking and I loved the huge lots.

Plenty of parking for everyone and their guests.

I never had anyone break into my car or apatment and other then the gangsta issue, which was quickly remedied by management and the Lenexa Police when one of these morons was seen running around with a AK-47 I felt pretty safe.

Since then they were bought out by someone else and they spent at least a million dollars on renovations.

I have friends that live there now and they like it.

Things have improved, but more needs to be done.

Remember when I lived there it was under different management then now, and I wish the new owners luck in cleaning that mess up, they will need it.

My buddies like it there and after the renovations and the maintanence situation mainly solved ( according to my friends) I would consider giving the place another shot if they took large pets.
