Overall it is a great place to live! Sometimes parking is not available directly in front of your own building at night, but you usually don't have to park more than half a block away and the parking lot is well lit. I usually don't hear any of my neighbors around me. The only time you can really hear your neighbors is when they are talking out on the steps,hallways and landings. Maintenance is usually very prompt and helpful. I have on occasion had to call a couple times on a single maintenance request, but that is rare. The office staff is also nice and helpful. The grounds are beautiful and very well kept. There is even a nice little walking trail and pond! Overall, the construction of the apartments is of very good quality. The only problem is with the layout of the heating/air conditioning vents. There is only one vent for the very large living room, so the living room is often hot in the summer and cold in the winter. The Crossings is also in a safe area (very near the Lenexa Police Dept). I have not heard any of my neighbors mention any problems with their cars or apartments being broken into. The pool looks nice, but the deepest spot is only 5 feet deep! However, they recently added a hot tub to the property. Overall, it is a great place to live, and my husband and I will probably live here until we buy a house.
