I moved in under the old management staff in May 2003 and the staff then needed improvement I thought, because they did not enforce the common rules concerning loud parties and etc, also they really took their time fixing anything.

Then about 4 or 5 months later they switched management staff... The manager now is Donna, and they moved me to a quiter side of the complex as three out of the five apartments in building I resided in were being evicted.

Once there, the apartment itself was more spacious but the balcony door did not open making the patio unaccessable, there was no screens on any of the windows, the drain in the main bathroom sink plugged up, the toilet in the master bedroom did not stop running after you flushed it, the garbage disposal in the kitchen leaked, ....

I had been there for a year and I decided because nothing was being fixed, and the apartment was livable no one would do anything about the situation I was in.

I moved from there. Thank God! Most of these Johnson County properties have such high prices becuase of the ammenities they offer. I am at a smaller location now, with no storage because the ammenties they offer is awesome.

Do NOT let heather glen fool you please... I was told free copies, free fax, clubhouse, indoor and outdoor pool, carport, extra storage, 2 spacious bedrooms, 2 bath rooms... if the apartment was not a pain to live in and the management and maintance crew kept up the place then it would be an excellent place to live, but when you pay 30 dollars extra for a carport for other residents to park in, when you have to turn on and off the faucet under the toilet after each use, the kitchen gets pretty rank smelling and the wood rotts with mold underneath the sink, can't wash your hands in the main bathroom (travel to the bedroom bath or the kitchen), can't use your prorch, it gets pretty rediculious....

Also, if you decided to go and live there then please take pictures of the apartment original condition, make a log of the time and dates you conversate with the management, also record them, and when you move take pictures of the condition you leave it in...

I did not do the pictures before I moved in because I filled out a form, I started to record conversations after I threatened them with a lawyer if they did not let me out of my lease because of the condition of the apartment that I was faced to live in with my miner children, because at one point the office called the police on me claiming I threatened to trash the apartment when I left. Funny that when the police got there I had the conversation taped and I charged her with falsifying false reports. When I left I aslo took pictures, funny now we have a court date because they claim there were eggs on the walls and carpet, and stains on the carpet and they want me to pay over 500 dollars to them, they are mad because I did not have to pay to get out of my lease.

Funny also that I have many friends and family there and Donna has told them that if I am seen on property, even to visit them, then I will be arrested for tresspassing.

Well funny how court ended up not in your favor huh.....guess in the end you were WRONG! HAHHA, have fun paying the apartment community back sucker!
