I lived at Heather Glen for several years. From the time I first moved in until I moved out I had issues with management. They were slow to fix anything and charged you for a lot of repairs that was not the tenants fault. The reason I stayed so long was having the same school environment was necesary for my children. Managers were caught in a revolving door, as well as maintenance personnel. Each new manager blamed the previous manager as incompetent and THEY were going to do a better job. The buildings were dirty and building doors needing repaired. There were trash dumpsters directly in from of some homes. You were constantly having your rent increased without notice. All of the things that were to be available to you never was. The weight room and indoor pool was closed for most of the year. Both pools had to have extensive repairs that kept them closed. Management was always threatening to evict someone, even for the slightest things. They let some people have more than the allowed amount of residents per apartment, but harrassed others. They would cite changes in rental agreements on a whim, but expected not to be challenged by it. One manager stated the home office wanted to get rid of the poor working class so was taking steps to evict them and move in a better class of people. Before moving in, please investigate throughly and have the management be held accountable for their part in your rental agreement.

That sounds like a fair housing issue with the comment on the poor working class. That manager could get in a lot of trouble saying things like that.
