Well, I have been at Heather Glen for 3 years now. Wow have things changed. At first everything was super pleasant, but slowly everything has gone down hill. We are definitely NOT renewing our lease this time around. Two summers ago, the pool was shut down nearly a month ahead of time because "the usual guy who could fix the pool was booked until the end of the pool season." Then, when our air conditioning stopped working, when it was over 100 degrees, the maintenance personnel seemed incapable of fixing the problem. One of our pets was getting ill due to the heat, so I had to request another apartment to keep the animals in. It was nice, however, that we (my husband and myself) got to move into the apartment designated for the animals since it had functioning A/C. It was a much larger apartment, and we got to keep the same price as we had for our smaller apartment. Well, now this year our apartment does not have proper cooling so far, and the people in the office said that we had to wait until it was atleast 80 degrees for them to do the proper chemical tests. I called a local heating and a/c place, and they said that was completely inaccurate and they have been fixing air conditioning units for the past month now. So...that incident is actually what brought me here to this site to post a review. On a good note, though, it is quite spacious in the apartments. Oh yes, one evening in the winter, my husband and I woke up around 1am because something was burning. We checked all around and things seemed fine, we even thought it may have just been that our neighbors closed the flu in their chimney too soon. I called the office in the morning to see if they could come check out our furnace, just in case, and I was told, "Well, our maintenance guys are really busy today, but I'll make sure they get there tomorrow." The maintenance guys never came, no one ever came to check out the furnace. Thank God that wasn't the issue. Well, that's all and have a good day.
